Assistant Vice President, Casino Accounting and Credit

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth operations of Casino Accounting department and Casino Credit and Collection daily functions:
    • Manage and control casino chips, cash and cash instruments, including approval to release payment
    • Review and monitor credit exposure and receivable on customers’ account
    • Review internal control procedures and implement practical changes to strengthen the controls where necessary
  • Formulate and implement strong security measures in all Casino Accounting and Casino Credit and Collection functions to prevent fraud or any other form of malpractices
  • Ensure compliance with Casino and other Regulatory requirements
  • Timely review and monitoring of credit exposure and receivable on patrons’ account
  • Ensure delivery of high customer service level and foster an environment of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with at least 5 years of relevant cashiering experience in a Casino environment and/or banking industry in any organization with an emphasis on internal controls or prevention of anti-money laundering measures
  • Strong exposures and experience in banking, internal control procedures, staff management and leadership
  • Well-versed in managing service-related functions with emphasis on managing a large customer service team
  • Meticulous at work to ensure control procedures and regulatory requirements are in place
  • Able to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment

Salary Grade: SM5
